There are a couple of great resources for finding news and media sources:

  • Omni, our OneSearch tool, has an option to search all Newspapers and Periodicals. Just select the "Newspapers" at the top of the screen.
  • Under Subject Guides and selecting the "Other Resources" button, you will find a list of all the databases we have access to with News, Media and Periodical content
  • ProQuest's News and Newspapers, this platform gives you access to current Canadian and international news as well as historical coverage of the The Globe & Mail and The New York Times

All of these options are a quick and easy options for news and media, and searching here ensures you don't encounter paywalls when trying to access the news information you need!
